In 1990 the INH, located in Johannesburg, was founded to provide quality training for complementary health practitioners. The past number of years have seen our Institute grow into a leader in the field of natural therapies and self-development. We offer government accredited professional training programmes, as well as stimulating self-knowledge and life enrichment courses, in a supportive and caring environment.
In recent years South Africa has witnessed a revolution in health care. Now an estimated 60% of our population use the remedies or seek the services of a natural therapist. This is an established trend, with promoting wellness as important as treating illness.
Our aim is to train the highest calibre natural therapists. We provide a thorough grounding in medical sciences and incorporate philosophy, holistic counselling and an integrated approach to seeking the cause of health problems. We treat the person as a whole being whose mind, body and spirit are interdependent.
The INH is a wonderful place to study because it embodies this holistic approach.
